About this series:

Language Around Us is an integrated English Language course designed for Primary Schools.

The main objectives are:

1. to develop skills in the use of Language, both oral and written. 
2. to develop pupils powers of imagination, judgment and insight.
3. to stimulate and encourage reading for pleasure and understanding.

Each level consists of thematic units featuring reading of prose and verse, understanding and appreciation, vocabulary usage, grammatical structures, spelling activities. The course offers a variety of learning experiences – reading for understanding, speaking, listening activities and dramatization.
