Harmony A Social Studies Course for Primary Schools
Harmony Standard 2 is the fourth book in response to the new curriculum in Social Studies for Primary Schools in Trinidad and Tobago. The series emphasizes a harmonizing of individual community and society.
The knowledge of the environment, of history both past and present, of culture and society plays a significant part in the pupils’ progress. Inherent in the course, is the individual at the center as he/she is allowed to view his/her society in its many faceted forms. The approach and methods employed offer pupils an awareness of societal, cultural, and environmental situations and factors that impact and influence their daily lives.
