Harmony A Social Studies Course for Primary Schools
Harmony Infant Year 1 and Year 2 are the first and second books in response to the new curriculum in Social Studies for Primary Schools in Trinidad and Tobago. The series emphasizes a harmonizing of individual community and society.
The knowledge of the environment, of history both past and present, of culture and society plays a significant part in the pupils’ progress. Inherent in the course, is the individual at the centre as he is allowed to view his society in its many faceted forms. The approach and methods employed offer pupils an awareness of societal, cultural and environmental situations and factors which impact and influence their daily lives.
